I'm later in life so I'd rather put my money towards higher quality optics, but I wanted to see what I could get for the low price point of $100. That said, this is not a bad optic for your kid's first so you don't have to worry about the door dings. I have mounted on a springer pellet rifle for the occasional Iguanas that stroll by. So far it is holding zero and springers give some decent recoil on optics so I'd say this would work on .22LR and even .223. I like it comes with almost every feature a UTG Leapers scope will give you at a fraction of the cost. Things I would change: Basic Mildot reticle, forget the illuminated reticle as this is best for bright daylight, and add flip-up covers or leave the cheap ones off altogether.

The XYSIGHT 6-24x50 AO Rifle Scope works great and is really nice to use with a large view from several inches back. It is a kind of big but I needed a long enough scope to fit the Savage 110 bolt action rifle that I mounted it on. The eye relief distance is also important because the rifle’s recoil is significant. However, the scope does not hold it’s zero adjustment for the crosshairs. After 20 shots of 30.06, I had to adjust both windage and elevation. The recoil had knocked the windage out of adjustment and was so far off that I could not adjust it far enough to line it up any longer. Update: Upon closer inspection, I found that the rear scope mount had popped up out of the rail notch and was causing the scope to veer out of alignment. I fixed the ring mount connections and checked windage settings again with a bore sight and found that the crosshair adjustment is not damaged after all.

I use it for 22s and air rifles and it works great and I can see very far down range

I like this scope. Great illumination feature. Clear optics. However. I got this for my Gamo swarm bone collector. I will put it on another rifle. The scope is too long, and the 50 mm lens gets in way of my Gen3i 10 shot . and also prevents me to operate break barrel. UP DATE. 3-1-24. I put this scope on my Hatsan .25 caliber. I removed the rear scope stop to get better eye relief. I love this scope. the last two shots in bullseye @ 45 yds. Optics are clear. I can honestly say that for $100, this is a well crafted scope for my Hatsan .25 caliber. Other good air rifle scopes are $500.00 and up. I could buy another air rifle for that price. I will stick to this xysight scope. The quality is worth it. WC.

Xysight has fantastic optics. This is my third scope I have purchased from them. Their optics are spot on in comparison to the expensive lables. If anyone is looking for a conservative price point, they have it.This scope reaches 800 yards clearly. It bright and I am shooting a 338, nothing is broken or rattling.Another happy purchase aving dollars for the high dollar ammo.

This scope is a very nice, heavy-duty scope. We haven't mounted it yet as it will be going on a hunting rifle that has yet to be purchased, but having experience with scopes and having checked this one out thoroughly, it is my opinion that this one is well-made with a good wide view.

This is quite a good scope, especially considering the price point. It comes with scope rings and a bungee-style double lens cover. It's good to have both red and green reticle options, and there are five levels of brightness for each. The lowest brightness is good for dusk/night; the other 4 are bright enough for daylight. There's also the usual etched reticle so you still have black/beige lines even if the battery dies.Optic clarity is great, with no distortion even at the edges of the visual field. Magnification was easy to adjust, as was focus. Zero held well, even with impact and shocks. It's 16 inches in length and about 18 ounces with the rings attached.Eye relief was at about 2 inches but may vary a bit for you; it's less relief than a 1-6x scope for sure. There's really nothing to dislike about this, and I think it's a very good way to get a scope at low cost.

First of all....this is very low cast scope! So, don't expect super high quality, best of everything...that is completely unrealistic and unfair to expect for this price. That being said, it is a nicely made scope with clear lenses and a nice and bright illuminated reticle. It includes scope rings, which is surprising at this price point....again, are they the best scope rings on the planet...of course not, but hey including them means one less thing you have to go out an by to put this scope to work. I am sure this is best used on lower caliber rifles, like .22's and such due to the low recoil. But, if used in that application I think it is absolutely usable and sufficient. I am happy with it for the price!

This is a really good scope. Easy to navigate and adjust. The reticle and view are really highly visible. When the illumination of the reticle is on its very clear and bright. The mounting rings were easy to install. Overall this is a really nice scope that performs well for me so far...👍
