Magpul Bipod
Serious Strength, Versatility, and Value
The Magpul Bipod offers serious strength and versatility. Available with your choice of M-LOK or 1913 Picatinny Rail mounting connections, the bipod can be mounted to your accessory system of choice. Rich with important features, our lightweight Mil-spec hard anodized 6061 T-6 aluminum and injection-molded polymer bipod brings innovation in ergonomics, functionality, strength and value together. An aesthetically pleasing, low-profile design conceals its mechanisms and hardware, smoothly brushing off snags and bumps. Optimized for rapid one-handed adjustments, the bipod quickly and quietly transitions between countless user configurations
Durable & Lightweight
The Magpul Bipod is exceptionally strong and built to perform under punishing field conditions. Like all Magpul products, the Bipod is constructed of rugged, high-strength materials and designed to last a lifetime. In the shooting position, it is easily loaded with stabilizing forward tension without fear of failure or warping. Mil-spec hard anodized 6061 T-6 aluminum, stainless steel internals, and injection-molded reinforced polymer ensure years of dependable performance and reliability, all while shaving weight. At just over 11 oz., the Magpul Bipod is lighter than many pricier bipods currently on the market.
Innovative, Adjustable, & Easy to Use
Deploying and adjusting the Magpul Bipod is quick and easy. Spring-tensioned legs stow neatly forward and snap down and lock into place with one hand. Leg extensions slide and lock securely with the push of a button on any of the seven half-inch spaced locking detents. The legs extend a full four inches, from 6.3” to 10.3”. An industry-exclusive 50° of total tilt and 40° of total pan are controlled by a glove-friendly knurled tool-less bipod locking knob located between the extended legs, allowing easy adjustment between shots. Additionally, the Magpul Bipod has the exclusive ability to lock pan at 0° while maintaining full tilt functionality.
Functional Feet
Even in the stowed position, the Magpul Bipod has many useful features. A soft rubber bipod locking knob cap is attached to the locking knob gives users a steady, non-marring forward rest while the bipod is folded. Additionally, its staggered soft rubber feet hold fast on a variety of shooting surfaces and are easily removed with a roll pin punch. Should users choose to change feet, the Magpul Bipod’s legs accept most Atlas pattern bipod replaceable feet, except for the Atlas 5-H style.

Oh damn this thing is nice... couple details that I believe are QD model specific:1. I don’t believe this has a pan feature like the others are described. Well mine is locked out anyway.2. Kinda tall. With the QD clamp and everything the front end of my rifle sits kinda high.3. There is no tilt lock out... so when you tighten up the knob you have to kind of crank your rifle over to level out the cant.4. It’s too sexy. It looks tacticool. And it knows it...All that crap aside, it’ll get the job done. Magpul has never let me down before... I have a couple slings, shotgun forend and stock and there hardware is durable/reliable.Yes, I love it, buy one.

I ordered this bipod as the final piece of what is mostly going to be a budget-friendly .308 target rifle (Howa 1500; Hera H7 chassis). The clean minimalist styling would nicely complement the Hera's space-rifle looks and the almost uniformly positive reviews along with Magpul's reputation for producing quality firearm accessories at a good price put it at the top of my list.Attachment was as dead-simple as with any M-LOK product and it definitely looks the part. I also appreciate the simple operation - the legs lock solidly into place and are easily adjusted for height. The only things holding this product back from a full five stars are the lack of a positive lock for the tilt and pan functions and the lightweight construction. While the primary adjustment knob is easy to use and nicely textured for a good grip, it's impossible to finch it down enough to absolutely prevent a solid bump from either canting the rifle or pivoting the bipod - some form of positive lock would be nice. Additionally, the legs definitely flex a fair bit when extended. To be fair, they're being asked to support a 12-pound setup, so I may be pushing the limits of what is a fairly light simple bipod, but it's still worth mentioning. It's still a quality piece and I would wholeheartedly recommend it for a lighter gun - I'll likely end up moving this to one of my ARs and find a sturdier (and likely significantly more expensive) solution for this rifle down the road.I would still highly recommend this bipod, but not for all setups.

This thing is stable enough to shoot a nickel sized targets at 100 yds And hit small targets at 400 yds. So far so good!

A) imo, worth the extra price vs the pic rail mounted model. 1 bipod, 3 guns, 1 throw lever.B) Needs A.R.M.S. #17s pattern mount. I got an American Defence Manufacturing mount, they were in stock.(Pictured is the tan/coyote/fde/whatever-its-tan coloured option with the 'tactical extended lever' or whatever. The tan looks like SCAR16 kind of tan, and I'm not sure id recommend the extended lever. My other mount from them has a reg lever, I like it more. Just my opinion. Also, maybe just get black. Kind of regretting my 'anodized fan's look with the rest of my normal tan items)

Installed on Magpul Hunter 700 stock. I mostly use bags to shoot off of. Bipods are excellent tools even if you shoot off bags like I do. Dropping a leg and using it to steady your rifle against a tree when having to make a standing shot. I have used it as intended though and it loads well. Big fan of Magpul, great customer service as well.
